DIRECTOR’S NOTES

Scattered around the Windsor kids’ bedroom, the toys are in constant motion! They meet, chase each other, play hide and se

ek — and never get bored. Especially because pranks abound, and behind every trick there’s always him: old Robot Falstaff. Once the family’s

favorite toy, now he’s rusty and dusty, left aside — but eager to win back the children’s hearts, and ready to do whatever it takes. His latest scheme involves the two new arrivals, Alice and Meg. Freshly bought, he thinks it’ll be easy to sweep them off their feet and reclaim his spot in the family’s favorite toy cabinet. But the two are having none of it: they may be dolls, but they refuse to be taken for fools — quite the opposite! Thus begins a whirlwind of pranks and disguises, which becomes an opportunity for all the toys to learn how to play respectfully, without taking anyone for granted. In fact, by moving beyond differences and stereotypes, they’ll come to discover they’re much more alike than they thought.
