Partners & Sponsors
Beyond the usual precious support of institutions like the Ministero dei Beni Culturali, MIUR, Regione Lombardia and of Fondazione Cariplo, the presence of science and tech-based partners allows us to organize and bring to light the huge amount of work that is done off-stage for each performance. These sponsorships allow us to proudly yell, “Three cheers for opera!”

Born for the Music is a national program, created in 2006 from a close collaboration between l’Associazione Culturale Pediatri and il Centro per la Salute del Bambino Onlus, that promotes the musical experience among families, emphasizing both the cognitive value, which benefits children in the course of their lives, and its value as a form of communication, which favors and intensifies relationships shared by children with each other and with adults. Born for the Music situates the parents and child, the family, at the center of the activity, favoring the collaboration between services and operators with the goal of creating a multidisciplinary network. The setting of the twelfth edition of Opera kids gives us the opportunity to establish a precious collaboration with UNICEF Italy, which with accompany us on a path of reflection on the rights of children together with the iconic Pigotta. In fact, November 20th, 2019, signifies the thirtieth anniversary of the Convenzione sui diritti dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza (Convention on the rights of infancy and adolescence). With the show “Il guardiano e il buffone. Ossia Rigoletto (che ride e piange)” we have the occasion to not only shed light on Article 31 of the Convention that addresses the right to play, but also to rediscover the Pigotta, the celebrated ragdoll with which UNICEF helps children all over the world, which will become the character of Gilda and will mark an important moment of sharing.
The pedagogical work on opera offers the possibility to talk to kids about important themes. The edition of Carmen offered the chance to confront with children and teens the very delicate theme of violence, along with ActionAid Italy, which is concerned with the prevention of domestic violence and the fight against gender stereotypes.
